Meet the FLINTstones ~ Halloween 2016

Halloween has come and gone. This year was probably one of the most fun Halloweens to date! We loved our costumes and we loved watching how excited Averi got with everything.

I love having a family themed costume. Even before Averi was born Steve and I would always dress up in a couples costume.

Here is what I thought of each of the Flintstone costumes and what my favorite piece on each of them were.

Pebbles Flintstone

Averi's costume was super easy. Lime green fleece, black rounded triangles and blue leggings. Her hair is the perfect length for a little ponytail. I added the bone into her hair and it was the perfect little touch to complete her outfit. It was probably my favorite part on her.

Fred Flintstone

Steve's costume was also super easy to make. His costume was just a big sack. I think it turned out great and looked so good on him. The blue tie was my favorite part of his costume. I loved the big, oversize look that it had. He looked pretty handsome if I do say so myself. 

Wilma Flintstone

My outfit was a lot harder to make. Mainly because I wanted it to be tighter fitting than Averi's and Steve's outfits. Once I got it figured out it turned out great. My favorite part about Wilma's outfit was the big pearl necklace and bracelet. It was the perfect necklace because it was so lightweight.

The best part of Halloween 2016 was watching how excited Averi was. She loved looking at everybody's costumes and loved playing with her friends. She loved trick-or-treating on Halloween night. She actually loved her costume and wanted to wear it more than  the three nights she already did. Averi loved her candy bag! She would not let go of her bag the whole night and several days after. She would dump out her candy and put it back in her bag. Over and over again.

27 Random Facts About Steve

Steve and I have been married for over 5 years now.  He is my best friend and I love him so much. I love him more now then when we got married. Hopefully it will be fun for you to get to know him a little better through these random facts about Steve!

Happy Birthday Steve!!
 Hope you have a great 28th birthday!

1. He is a morning person.
2. He loves breakfast foods.
3. He knows the most random and sometimes useless facts.  
4. He loves trying new food when we go out to eat. 
5. He has a coin collection.
6. He hates stickers.
7. Steve hates glitter and how it never goes away!
8. He is great at math and loves putting data into tables to figure things out. 
9. He is a great budgeter. Like I mentioned before he loves putting our budget into a chart and analyze the different categories. Nerdy I know!!
10. He loves math equations. The harder the better. He gets so excited to tell me when he learns how a new equation applies to something. Me on the other hand usually has no idea what he is talking about!
11. He served his LDS Mission in Russia.
12. He tries to fix everything on his own before calling a real handy man. Most of the time he does a great job.
13. He hates cooking.
14. Steve hates when his fingers are sticky and has to wash them immediately. 
15. He helps around the house with laundry, dishes, cooking and everything else. I thank Steve's mom Jayne for this one!
16. There are 8 kids in his family. He has 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Steve is the 4th child. 
17. He claims to hate cats. Pictures would suggest otherwise. 
18. He LOVES sports! Basketball, football, running...pretty much every sport.
19. He HATES losing at sports.
20. He HATES eyes. If you pull your eye down and show him your eyeball he will get light headed. He has passed out before because of this. 
21. He ran cross-country and track for BYU all 4 years of college.
22. He hates when his finger nails get too long.
23. He wishes me a happy anniversary every month! "Happy 71 months this month!"
24. He thinks his jokes are hilarious! ;)
25. He is always willing to help out others.
26. He is very patient and caring.
27. He is a great daddy and Averi loves him.
