Bahamas Vacation: Day 2 // Miami Florida

// Monday //
We weren't allowed to board the ship until 11:30a.m. So we decided to sleep in and then go exploring some more. We walked down to South Beach and watched the pretty water. It was totally different seeing it at night and then seeing it in the morning. The beach was so crowded the night before and in the morning there was hardly anybody there. The beach had a completely different feel.

After walking the beach we decided to rent bikes and ride along the trail. It was a lot of fun. Especially because Steve struggled at riding his bike. He said the "chain kept slipping". He ended up parking it and just running beside me.

We wanted to get to the ship early so we could go explore it and eat the free food on board instead of paying for lunch. Steve is cheap like that haha! We took an Uber to the dock. Our ship was Royal Caribbean, Enchantment of the Seas. It was so big! I new they were big but they are HUGE!

The first thing we did when we got to the boat was go and eat at the buffet. Out of all the food they offered I got a cheese burger. After lunch we went and explored the ship. There were so many decks to look over and so much to do on the ship.

Before we left port we had to do a boat emergency drill. I guess it makes sense as to why they do them but in a real emergency there is no way their setup would work.

For dinner we went to the dining hall to eat. You can either make reservations to eat with a group of people or you can eat by yourself. We chose to eat by ourselves this first go around. Our dining hall was call My Fair Lady.

After dinner we were able to go to our rooms. Everybody said the rooms were really really small. I guess I was expecting something much smaller. I don't think we needed anything bigger cause we were hardly ever in the room.

Here are some more photos from the ship as we were leaving port. I really didn't get "sea sick" but I did feel a little dizzy and light headed from time to time once we started sailing.
