Egg Hunting & Egg Dying

This is the first holiday that Averi has really gotten into. She loves bunnies, eggs and CANDY!

This is the first year that we colored eggs with her and she had a blast. She loved putting the eggs in the colored water and saying, "where'd the egg go?" Then she would pull it out and say, "here it is." She used a whisk to put the eggs in and out until she found it was much easier to just use her hands. 

She had some much fun this Easter coloring and finding eggs. Averi also had her first Easter egg hunt at our church. She picked it up pretty quickly. But was more interested in dumping them all out. She got lots of treats and pretty colored eggs.

Happy Easter ~ Averi's First Easter

These two couldn't be more alike!

Easter came early this year! March 27, 2016 we celebrated Easter for the first time with Averi Jayne. 

 

 

Averi loved all of the colored Easter eggs. She went from chewing on one egg to the next until I had to take them away from her because they started scratching and cutting her lips. :( On a side note, who knew Easter eggs were sharp enough to scratch your lips? Not me obviously! She loved pulling her presents out of her basket. There was such a big difference in the way she looked and played with the presents now verses three months ago during Christmas. Averi also loved the pink Easter grass that was in her basket. She went crazy when she figured out she could play with it. Cleaning it up was a different story. That wasn't so fun.
